Housing Competence and Conduct - Survey for Tenants

Overview

From 1 October 2026, social housing landlords must meet a new Competence and Conduct Standard set by the Regulator of Social Housing.

The standard aims to ensure that housing staff have the right skills, knowledge, experience and behaviours to provide a good service to tenants.

As part of this, we want to hear directly from tenants about their experiences of Melton Borough Council's housing staff, including:

  • Housing Officers
  • Tenancy Services staff
  • Repairs and Maintenance staff
  • Property Management staff
  • Customer Services staff dealing with housing enquiries

Why your views matter

Your feedback will help us understand what we do well and where we can improve.

The survey should take no more than 5 minutes to complete.

What happens next

Your feedback will help us understand what we do well and where we can improve. It will be used to support staff training, improve housing services, and help us meet the requirements of the Regulator of Social Housing's Competence and Conduct Standard.
