Climate Change Strategy Consultation

Overview

Melton Borough Council has prepared a draft Climate Change Strategy for Melton borough. It sets out a framework for the whole community to come together to tackle climate change at a local level. 

The draft strategy sets out the key actions required for Melton borough to become better prepared for climate change as well as reduce locally produced greenhouse gas emissions, which are a key driver of climate change.

As the climate change strategy sets out a framework for the whole community to work together to tackle climate change, it is important local people have the opportunity to shape and finalise the document. 

We want to hear from local residents, businesses and organisations to ensure the strategy is suitable for the whole community.
